Privacy policy

StitchAid (“the site”) is a static informational website. This policy explains what limited data may be processed when you visit, and the choices you have.

What we collect directly

Nothing. The site has no accounts, no forms, no comments, and no newsletter. We do not collect, store, or sell personal information ourselves.

Cookies, advertising, and analytics

When advertising or analytics are enabled, the site may load third-party services that use cookies or similar technologies:

  • Google AdSense may serve ads and, depending on your consent and region, use cookies to personalize them. You can control ad personalization at Google Ads Settings, and learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
  • Google Analytics 4 may collect aggregated, pseudonymous usage statistics (pages viewed, approximate region, device type) so we understand which guides help people. IP anonymization is enabled.

These services load only after you accept the cookie notice shown on your first visit. If you decline, the site works identically with no third-party scripts. You can change your choice at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.

Affiliate links

Some guides contain links to products on Amazon. Clicking one takes you to Amazon, whose own privacy policy then applies. See our disclosure page for how these links support the site.

Server logs

The site is served by a static hosting provider, which may keep standard technical logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) for security and operations, subject to the provider’s own privacy policy.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR in the EU/UK, CCPA/CPRA in California, and similar laws elsewhere), you may have rights to access, delete, or object to processing of personal data. Because this site itself stores no personal data, such requests generally concern the third parties above, each of which provides its own controls linked in this policy.

Children

The site is a general-audience reference and does not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes

Any material change to this policy will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
